archer>malmo, located in Memphis, TN., is seeking a public relations professional to work with one of the agency's most prestigious clients. This is an immediate opportunity for an energetic, creative and detail-oriented team member with proven and excellent media relations skills. The PR AE must be a team-player who thrives in a fast-paced and results-driven environment. Qualified persons will have a BA/BS degree in journalism, communications, marketing or a related field and 5-7 years of Public Relations experience. A background within the mobile device industry is a plus.
The PR AE will also:
- Demonstrate understanding of other marketing disciplines and their applications
- Understand strategic vs. tactical thinking
- Exhibit client service skills and become a student of clients’ business
- Generate creative ideas with the team
- Understand research methodology and applications; quantitative vs. qualitative techniques
- Be able to listen and able to take direction
- Be a good and effective writer
- Able to interact with the client with little oversight
