archer>malmo's Campaign Gains National Award for YMCA

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (February 25, 2009) – The North American YMCA Development Organization has awarded archer>malmo’s “We Build People” campaign second place in the nation for integrated campaign work.

“We Build People” is an annual fundraising campaign conducted by the YMCA of Memphis and the Mid-South to support the “Open Doors” initiative. This vital program enables the Y to literally open its doors to people in need and make their services available to all people regardless of their ability to pay.

Out of 38 award categories, only eight were awarded a second place prize based on the entry’s exceptional merit.

Campaign tactics implemented by archer>malmo included a video of Y members sharing how the initiative has impacted their life, fundraising brochure and materials on display at all nine local YMCA branches.
