Agency Receives National Award
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (April 20, 2009) – archer>malmo took home a Best of Show award in the Specialty Division category at the National Agri-Marketing Association held April 15-17 in Atlanta, Georgia.
The honor was awarded to a campaign element developed for Valent U.S.A. Corporation’s Tourney Fungicide entitled “Seeing is Believing.” The campaign targeted golf course superintendents and touted product features through a series of online videos introducing the product beside other fabled characters including UFOs and BigFoot.
The Tourney campaign was one of three Best of Show recipients selected out of 1,234 totally entries. In the local MidSouth competition previously held in January, the agency had taken home 14 Gold awards, 18 Silver awards and two Best of Show awards.
The NAMA awards recognize creative and effective excellence in all forms of advertising, online, print, direct marketing and public relations for production agriculture, animal health, turf, ornamental and consumer-directed food communication efforts.
Other archer>malmo national Gold winners include one for the Tourney fungicide videos and a second for Valent’s Clutch Insecticide baseball bat premium mailing. The agency received silver awards for the overall Tourney campaign and the online Save the Super game, also developed for Tourney.
