Assistant Media Planner / Jr Digital Marketing Analyst

Are you ready to dive headfirst into big data? We need an Assistant Media Planner / Jr. Digital Marketing Analyst to support our analytics team's day-to-day digital ad campaign management and web traffic analysis. If you have the chops to follow the digital crumbs, sleuth out what happened and make key recommendations for improvements, then Archer Malmo wants you. 


  • A genuine affinity and passion for data work
  • A bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, finance, QBA/statistics or a comparable field
  • At least 1 year of experience working with and analyzing data or in digital marketing
  • A passionate, positive, willing-to-learn attitude
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks with varying deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with others
  • Solid understanding of the fundamentals of digital advertising
  • Proficient in Excel or similar programs for data analysis
  • Willingness to contribute to increasing the agency's level of innovation in analytics

Bonus points:

  • An agency background with digital experience
  • Proficiency with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics
  • Experience running paid search, social media campaigns and/or display ads
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Domo and Tableau
  • Google AdWords, Bing Ads and/or Google Analytics certification(s) 

What you'll be doing:

  • Uploading new ad creatives to display, paid search and social media networks
  • Monitoring ad campaigns to ensure they're running smoothly and KPIs are being met
  • Running QA of web analytics properties to confirm conversions are being tracked and no spam is getting through to cloud up the data
  • Assisting in the creation of client-facing reports and analyses
  • Delivering clear, cohesive analyses and key findings to internal team members in an easily understood manner
  • Staying current with client and industry benchmarks in a constantly changing environment
