Archer Malmo Debuts New Visual Identity and Brand Positioning

Memphis, Tenn. (June 24, 2019) – Archer Malmo, a leading brand communications agency with offices in Memphis and Austin, today unveils a new visual identity and brand positioning. Since its inception in 1952, the agency has continually challenged itself to Be Greater Than by going beyond conventional thinking to find unexpected ways to drive real business results.

Archer Malmo is a fiercely-independent agency built on creativity and an unwavering drive to be greater, which is what drove this identity evolution. The traditional orange in the logo has been revitalized to include complementing blues, yellows and grays to modernize the color palette. Additionally, the multiple triangles within the new logo pay homage to the triangular scoot showcased in previous versions of the logo.

“The advertising industry has certainly evolved since the early days when Ward Archer and John Malmo opened their respective agencies in Memphis,” said Russ Williams, CEO of Archer Malmo. “One thing that has remained the same is our relentless pursuit to be better today than we were yesterday. Over the last six months a team of dedicated experts across both offices have worked together to capture what’s always been true to us - Be Greater Than. We may have a new look, but we’re still the same scrappy creative thinkers that we’ve always been.”

Additionally, Archer Malmo has promoted two senior-level team members to senior leadership positions:

  • Gokben Yamandag, has been promoted to Chief Digital Officer and will oversee the digital and development teams in both offices. She previously served as the Senior Vice President of Digital Strategy & Analysis and is currently based in the Memphis office. Yamandag has been with the agency since 2005.

  • Meredith Cuevas has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Group Account Director and will lead account service and new business in the Austin office. Cuevas is based in Austin and has been with the agency since 2016, previously serving as Account Director.
