Archer Malmo today announced it has been named communications agency for Capital Farm Credit, Texas’ largest farm credit cooperative. With more than 70 branch offices and loans exceeding $6 billion, the Bryan, Texas-based cooperative provides agribusiness, home, small business and operating loans to members throughout the state.
Archer Malmo will develop strategy and recommendations for a broad array of marketing communications tactics including print, radio, outdoor, e-marketing and digital. “Financing is a key driver within the agriculture industry, and we are thrilled to begin working with a thriving member of the Farm Credit System,” said Fred Nichols, vice president/account director at Archer Malmo. “Our agency has a robust portfolio of national agricultural clients, and the addition of Capital Farm Credit will both strengthen and diversify our experience in this industry that is so critical to the American economy.”
As a cooperative, Capital Farm Credit is owned by the same farmers, ranchers, agribusinesses and rural homeowners it serves. Member patrons have a vote and a voice in the business and share in the cooperative’s earnings. Since 2007, Capital Farm Credit has returned more than a half billion dollars to members through the company’s patronage dividend program.
“Archer Malmo impressed us with how quickly they understood the dynamics of our business and brought solid recommendations to the table to help meet our aggressive marketing goals,” said Jeff Moder, director of marketing and communications for Capital Farm Credit. “As a cooperative, it was important for us to find a marketing partner that understood our value proposition and commitment to members, and aligned recommendations to help us achieve those goals.”
Archer Malmo was also recently awarded an assignment for Munson Hybrids, a regional seed company based in Galesburg, Ill. The agency will be updating the company’s communications program and website.
These clients join The Cotton Board (Memphis, TN), Nufarm (Cary, NC), StollerUSA (Houston, Texas), Valent USA (a client since 2001, located in Walnut Creek, CA) and Zoetis Animal Health (Florham Park, NJ) as part of the agency’s agriculture portfolio.
