A Mighty Little Seed Indeed

See how The Cotton Board tells stories through the lens of a multi-generational cotton farming family, a marathon runner, and Café du Monde’s famous beignets.

Client: Cotton Board

Challenge

The Cotton Board wanted to increase the visibility of its role in driving worldwide demand for cotton, an environmentally friendly crop.

Solution

We produced three short films to be the launch point for an integrated campaign linking cotton’s sustainability to the use of conservation production practices, versatility, and consumer preference for cotton fiber and seed. The films feature stories told through the lens of a multi-generational cotton farming family, a marathon runner, and New Orleans’ Café du Monde, whose world-famous beignet recipe hinges on cottonseed oil. These video stories are hosted on Forever Cotton, a storytelling platform built to showcase the producers, partners, and consumers who rely on one of the world’s most sustainable crops.

We’re a relatively small company, but we never feel that way with Archer Malmo. They make us feel like we’re a priority for them, and that feeling just goes a long way. We know that cotton producers now have a renewed faith in cotton, but I will say that I have continually renewed my faith in Archer Malmo, and I would make this decision a thousand times.
