Leveraging a Brand Upgrade To Do More in the Fight Against Hunger

When the Tennessee Farm Bureau and Farm Credit needed to mobilize more resources in the fight against hunger here in Tennessee, we were there to help.

Client: Tennessee Farm Bureau and Farm Credit Mid-America

Challenge

Hunger affects one in seven Tennesseans. The Tennessee Farm Bureau and Farm Credit have been leading the effort to address it through Shooting Hunger. As a mission-driven organization, Shooting Hunger hosts a series of clay shooting events throughout the state to mobilize Tennessee’s ag community around their cause.

Shooting Hunger came to Archer Malmo seeking our expertise and ideas on strategies to help them increase awareness and participation in their cause. They needed our help to scale-up efforts to raise money for local food banks and enlist more allies in the fight against hunger.

Solution

Archer Malmo developed an elevated brand look and feel for Shooting Hunger to support their fundraising efforts and enable more significant corporate involvement. We created a logo, brand identity, posters, and video to support our corporate donation strategy and promote the event. We also reached out to leaders within the ag community and leveraged PR to help raise awareness.

In addition to meeting the client’s objectives of increased participation and contributions, the campaign itself was well-received, earning multiple national honors from the National Agri-Marketing Association.

Results

3x increase in corporate sponsorship
2M+ meals provided
34% increase in event attendance

The folks at Archer Malmo helped us realize the potential for Shooting Hunger and turned it into a world-class giving cause. The brand upgrade helped Shooting Hunger be taken more seriously, allowing us to fulfill our mission in a sustainable way.
